Computer and IT tutoring in Warners Bay

Warners Bay is home, so if you are here I am usually only a few minutes away. That matters more than it sounds: it means I can often fit you in at short notice, and I can call back in for ten minutes to check something without it being an expedition.

Coming to me instead

Because this is my base, Warners Bay is also the one suburb where plenty of people choose to come to me rather than the other way round. That works particularly well for home lab building, where having spare hardware, spare cables and a bench to work on makes the session far more productive than balancing an old desktop on a kitchen table.

Parking is straightforward and there are no stairs to manage. Just say which you would prefer when you ring.

What people here usually ask for

There is a large retired population around this end of the lake, and a good deal of my week is sitting with people over 70 sorting out iPads, photos, video calls with grandchildren interstate, and the persistent problem of not being certain which emails are real. Scam messages are far and away the most common thing I get asked about, and it is always worth asking. Nobody is ever made to feel foolish for checking.

The other half is families. Warners Bay Public and the high schools nearby feed a steady stream of teenagers who are quietly very interested in computers and have nowhere to take that interest. If you have one of those at home, the kids and teens page explains what that looks like in practice.
